This is officially my largest prop to date. Coming in at 6 feet long, it's too big for me to handle. From the anime and manga One Piece, this is Vice Admiral Smoker's Seastone Jitte. His comically oversized weapon is made of Seastone, which seals the powers of Devil Fruit users. In the anime, it's portrayed as having a dull metallic finish, so I went with Rustoleum flat aluminum paint. The body of the prop is primarily 1" PVC piping with a 1" wooden dowel rod inside. This gives it weight, stability and durability. The arm and connector are 3d printed to match the inner and outer radius of the PVC pipe, and were coated with XTC-3d epoxy for finish and support. The caps on both ends are also 3d printed to fit. I used baseball bat tape for the grip.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos along the way, so all I've got are pictures of the finished product. 5' 7" props guy for scale. Hope you like it.
Here are renders of the 3d printed parts
