Captain America Shield: WIP

I'm getting started with putting the shield together before I start painting. I'm attaching the brackets on with JB Weld and weighing them down with some old textbooks, and clamps with rubber gloves covering the feet. I unfortunately dented the side with this process, and I had to bend it back into place with a vice covered with rubber gloves. I smoothed out the ding with high grit sandpaper and some 000 steel wool.
