Captain America Shield: Masking the rings

Just wanted to share a few updates on my Captain America Shield project. I've started the masking process using Frog Tape. After the rough masking was done, I used an exacto knife to trace out the rings. I tried using Alclad II hot metal paints, but I found them to be too thin and too expensive for this purpose. I'll probably switch to Testor's spray metal cans to save time and costs. Painting this shield properly is probably going to take several tries. More updates to follow.
