After playing around with the clear resin a bit, I got the idea of making a set of 'charged' cards for my friend Andrew's Gambit cosplay. Facebook here I've made three separate sets, one with a royal flush embedded in a thin layer of pink resin for coloring. The second is cards covered in flash tape, with card symbols painted on. This gives a really nice reflected light effect. They'll be encased in thicker resin, so that the pink coloring shows up in flash photography. The last set is made by embedding 3d printed symbols in resin. I made card blanks by 3D printing with dremel edge work. The blanks were molded in silicone, and the resin is poured in or dripped over the cards.
